Kände att jag ville dela med mig dettta

För en av mina kurser ska vi komma på en affärside för en lång weekend resa. Min grupps ide är att man ska ta en massa rika och uttråkade golfare med alldeles för mycket pengar på en lite resa till först Island, Loften och sedan till Sverige för att spela golf under midnattssolen. En bra ide tycker vi... Vår lärare ville att vi skulle maila honom idéen innan vi satte igång att arbeta med den på allvar. Detta var hans svar:

exotic golfing, bloody ell .. who are you taking ..Muslim golfers .. who's going to be sober enough to see the ball by the time you get to Iceland let alone Lofoten..

I went to Oslo after the ski Olympics, must have been about 1939.. had a look up the top of the ski-jump, jeez was it frightening.

We had a German guide who told us what happened on the jump. she didn't speak much english, being the german guide.. her english was therefore wonderful and I remember her description to this day..: " ... for a big jump, he comes, comes and comes all the way, then makes a great fahrt - he goes up, up ,right up until he's a little prick. Then he comes again, down the bottom.. relieved, do you say..?
